I'm super excited about this one! I just got my SDCC 2015 Twelfth Doctor in Spacesuit in a few days ago. :)
I actually ordered two of these...I ordered one from Forbidden Planet, but they still haven't shipped it (soon, hopefully! soon!), but I later found this one online for a good price from someone who went to the con. ANYWAY, here we go -
The seller did a good job of packaging him safely. A tiny bit of corner denting but nothing super noticeable.
I thought I'd share the sticker as well, for those who haven't seen the con stickers yet. :)
And now for the little guy himself! The head is the same head they use for the other Twelves, but the suit is what really sells this. I love the spacesuit because it's used so often in new Who, they reuse it for so many things. Ten, Eleven, and Twelve have all worn this suit, so it's a pretty recognizable part of new Who.
The suit has most of the details of the real suit! It is very accurate to what is on the show.
All the pockets and everything!
Standability - this pop is a little wobbly, 6/10. He stands up fine on his own but he will probably fall over if you bump him.
The back of the pop does not have a lot of detail, just the straps continuing around. You will not miss out on much if you keep him in the box.
All in all, I'm super pleased with this pop, and I'm really happy to have him in my collection. He is a fairly limited pop, but you do have a few options if you want to add him to your collection. The easiest way would be to purchase him on eBay. Gemini Collectibles has also been randomly adding SDCC exclusives to their website, and it is possible that he could turn up there. Popcultcha and Forbidden Planet do not have stock, but you never know.
