hubig's pies

I’m a huge fan of Hubig’s Pies. (My favorites are the coconut and the chocolate!)  My father would bring back as many as he could fit in his freezer (he’s a truck driver) every time he drove through Louisiana.  Other times, we’d order them by the case.
However, the Hubig’s factory suffered a devastating fire a couple of weeks ago, and the building was completely destroyed.
Hubig’s Pies are an important part of the history of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana.  The entire community is rallying together to help the factory rebuild.
