banana raisin cornbread

I had a banana that needed to be used up, so I whipped this simple bread up :)   It’s a slightly sweet cornbread and SUPER delicious.  Add whatever you think might make it tasty!

Banana Raisin Cornbread
1 box cornbread mix
1 overripe banana
1/2 c milk
1 tbs honey
raisins, walnuts, etc.

Preheat the oven to 350 and grease a loaf pan.

Peel the banana into a mixing bowl and add the milk and honey; mash.

Pour the cornbread mix into another bowl, mix in the raisins/walnuts/whatever else.  Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the banana-milk.

Pour into your loaf pan and bake for about 35 minutes.  Enjoy :)
